Nifty Thrifty Military Mommy

Center of Gravity by Laura McNeill is an excellent fast read book that I could not put down as soon as I started. The characters are the ones who draw you and keep you reading. Ava starts out as a desperate helpless woman who is weak minded and people walk all over her. Once the book comes to an end, she has blossomed into a strong willed woman who fights for herself.

This book starts out with a whirlwind romance where life seems perfect. But things quickly unravel and Ava must find the strength and her center of gravity to battle the wars she faces ahead of her. Determination and love of her children drive her to give a reason to life and fight for what is hers.

This book will make you think twice when you first meet someone, because they can always fool you at first, but their true colors will present itself over due time.
